Congratulations to Lucy and Bryan who got married at an adorable little church in Dunedin, FL. Historic Andrew's Memorial Chapel was built in 1871 and has all the charm and vintage appeal that is elegant and classic. There is nothing like having a wedding in a church that you just know 1,000's of people have fallen in love and started their lives together in. This couple was absolutely beautiful and a true pleasure to work with. I love a bride who is open to letting me use my {creative} on her! We had a gorgeous day that felt a little bit like fall and the perfect overcast day for stunning portraits! Lucy is of Bulgarian heritage and her family was just adorable as I tried to speak to some of them {who didn't speak English!} I learned a few words in Bulgarian so I could shout out to them as we were doing family formals :) The reception was something I've never seen before....growing up in the Greek community {Tarpon Springs} I've experienced the European celebrations but this was a whole different level of celebratory fun! Native dances and new customs were an integral part of the reception and I loved being introduced to it! Everyone was incredibly nice, so full of joy, and thanked me 100 times! I felt honored to be a part of this special day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your celebration and many wishes of happiness for your lifetime of love, Lucy and Bryan!

Janelle and Vince got married in beautiful downtown Dade City in a church that has been standing for 147 years! The craftmanship of this elegant masterpiece blew me away-it was absolutely gorgeous! Also gorgeous was bride, Janelle, who couldn't wait to say "I do" to the love of her life, Vince, just weeks after taking the bar. She told me that the wedding and her love were a great distraction while she waited for results! I loved watching these two get married in this church-their love was so apparent and the windows let in God's light as if He was saying, "I approve." It really was beautiful! After the ceremony Janelle let me know that she had picked out a spot that she wanted to go to for her and her new husband's formals {this was a favorite childhood spot she's loved for years}. As we drove to the spot which was only 7 minutes away, the sky got darker and darker and thunder started to boom around us. We only had about 10 minutes at the location with the storm growing bigger and coming closer on top of us but we all decided to stick it out as long as possible because it was just to die for {don't worry, we all lived}! I felt one raindrop, took one last photo and said lets go, and by the time we got into the car {45 seconds later} it was pouring big fat rain drops all around us! Phew! Intense, but completely worth it...just look at those photos! I am so happy for Janelle and Vince and know they will have so much happiness. Thank you for letting us be a part of your love story!
