We here at C. R Newman Photography just absolutely adore Lindsey!!! {And were so happy to finally meet Dave after all these years!} Clint and I first photographed Lindsey about 5 years ago in our makeshift studio when we were "hobbiest" photographers. Things have come a long way since then but its always so amazing to see and photograph the people who were among the first to stand in front of our camera! Lindsey is no longer living in Florida as the military has a way of moving people around, but when she told me they would be coming down for vacation and wanted to do a maternity shoot with us I was thrilled!! She was absolutely glowing and Dave was the perfect husband :) I love the variety of images we captured during this session. Lindsey requested "whimsical" and according to her "we nailed it!" - SCORE! I can't wait to meet the little guy when he makes his appearance in a few shorts months :) Congrats to this wonderful couple! We love you!

I am loving watching this little man grow up in front of my camera. I have had the opportunity to shoot his momma's maternity session and then him as a newborn, at 3 months and now 6 months. He is so advanced for his age and is sitting like a pro and wanting to start walking! By 9 months Turok is going to be standing on his own-what a strong and dedicated little dude! I was so excited to do be able to use not only the studio in our new house but also the back yard and rock wall for his session! He looked like he was right in the midst of the jungle in his lion costume with all his animal buddies around him. I loved that Heather and Eddie brought a fun concept to this session! Thanks for another great shoot guys! :)
Meet the Saito family!!! This family is just adorable and they toughed out some pretty intense conditions at the beach during their session. Family sessions with a two-month-old and a two-year-old can be challenging in and of itself, but to add to it we had gusting winds and quickly dropping temperatures throughout the shoot. I loved their energy and enthusiasm though, they kept pushing forward through it all! In addition to shooting photos of the entire family, one of my favorite additions to every family session is to get photos of mommies and daddies with their little ones. Nothing says LOVE like a kiss and a hug from a child :) I like to just let families {play} and we get some really cute candid shots! A special thanks goes out to MY momma for coming along on this shoot to help out with the lights because I knew it would be so windy! <3
This maternity session was very special for me as I had the joy and privilage of photographing my oldest and dearest friend. Brandi and I met freshman year of highschool playing soccer {and having 4 out of 6 classes together!} and have been best friends ever since :) When I found out that Brandi and Trent were expecting a little bundle of joy I was through the moon! "I HAVE to shoot your maternity photos!" were the first words out of my mouth {after "OH MY GOSH!!!!! YAY!" - of course}. I couldn't be happier for these two and know that they will make the best parents. Baby Landon is one lucky little guy to have them as his parents, role models, friends, supporters, and most of all soccer instructors ;) haha but in all seriousness, congrats you guys. I love you both!
Meet the Armstrong family!!! I just loved photographing them!! They were absolutely open to any idea I had and these kids were amazing! Chloe smiled on cue and Ty gave his signature "model stare" and I can't resist the adorable brother/sister kiss going on! {Not so sure they wanted to see mommy and daddy kiss though} I love when a family is open to my creative ideas and isn't afraid to try something new. A lot of times family photographs come off looking a bit "plain Jane" but you won't find that here! I like action shots, candid "caught in the moment" shots, and most definitely the love and bond of parents and children captured in real time. Thanks for a great shoot guys! Looking forward to seeing you again soon for your generation session with the whole gang! :)
Turok at three months old!!! This is why I absolutely LOVE shooting "watch me grow" sessions because we get to do stuff like this!! His daddy held him in the same pose for his newborn photos and we did it again in black and white for three months-its amazing to see him grow. Three months is {to be honest} a very hard age to photograph. He isn't quite able to sit yet, but he doesn't want to lay down and be still. It is an in between stage that requires a lot of patience {right mom and dad!?!} and a lot of persistence to get the shot! Turok is still as cute as ever though, and just look at him in that bow tie! Come on-who can resist a little man in a bow tie :) Great seeing you guys again!
Sienna, otherwise known as, little Miss Personality! The last time I photographed Sienna she was 6 months old...now she is a year and a half and is still full of the same joy and has the best smile and expressions! I just love watching kids grow up in front of my camera :) The best part of this session, besides how incredibly adorable she is {of course} is the love that this family has for her! Grandma and Grandpa came along, as well as mom, and they all just adore this precious child. I love to see true love <3 Grandpa ran around with Sienna chasing him and she just laughed and laughed and laughed. Makes for some priceless photos and memories. Thanks for another great session guys!
Meet Turok!!! This little bundle of joy was three weeks old when I photographed him which is typically much older than you'd want to shoot newbie photos...but he pleasantly surprised me by doing AMAZING!! I haven't had the opportunity to shoot newborn photos in a while so was very excited to be shooting Turok just a few weeks after doing maternity photos for mom and dad! We knew going into it that black and white would be our main focus, but wanted to throw in some outdoor natural light, gorgeous Florida color in the end! After a quick rain break {which turned out to be useful for a quick feeding break as well} we were able to get outside for a few wide awake photos. Turok has amazing wide eyes and they seemed to stare right through me. One of the photos from this session is one of my favorite photos I've ever taken. When dad held Turok in his arm, Turok reached down and held onto his daddy's finger...my heart melted in this magical moment. I loved that I was able to deliver these images just in time for his first father's day! :) I can't wait to watch Turok grow up in front of my camera...see ya'll in a few months!
Oh my, oh my!!!! How much fun was this session!?! Jessica is a chef/baker, cook book writer, and food blogger who came to me in need of updated photos for her blog :) She is so talented and so sweet!! I loved being invited into this wonderful family's home for these photos-and I loved that they were all on board to make a HUGE mess in the kitchen! These 9 month old twins were too cute and had me giggling the whole time. While one had both hands in the {eggless} cookie dough, the other had a fist full of chocolate chips! Needless to say they were having a great time too! While I was there I was able to snap a few photos of the twins in the front garden and a family photo in front of their adorable house. Don't forget to check out Jessica's blog here: www.thenovicechefblog.com
We love the Robinson family, and I ADORE these photos from their beach session!!! Last year we had the honor of photographing Joanna's maternity session and also Zachary's newborn session-almost one year later they came back to us for family photos right before Zachary turned O.N.E!! :) Joanna and I discussed {in detail haha} what colors work best at the beach and how to color coordinate a family's wardrobe for a session- I gotta say, she did one heck of a job! They are all beautiful and we had a great night at the beach. A big thanks goes out to her sister who was there to assist in making Zachary smile by running in and out of the scene over and over....and over....and over...!!! I hope ya'll enjoy these photos as much as I do!
Boy oh boy...these kids were too much fun!!! And I've gotta give all of them credit for being willing to go barefoot in soaking wet grass! The spot I picked for photos had gorgeous morning light coming through the trees, but as it was still shaded, no sun had touched it yet to dry up the morning dew. We all went barefoot {including me!} and had a great time running through the grass. The kiddies didn't mind at all and they were all amazing. This session was especially fun because we had five kids, all under the age of 7! Mom and dad jumped in for a few but this morning was all about these gorgeous kiddies and their young spirit and joy :)
Last year we did Blake's newborn session-he was just as cute as can be! And now he has turned ONE and we got together to photograph him again :) Mom, Andrea, worked hard behind me dancing and singing to get Blake to smile and laugh. He had moments of pure excitement and that was my cue to click, click, click! I love these photos of him looking so joyful and full of life. They brought along some fun props too-great job guys!! Happy birthday to Blake and thanks for letting me be a part of his journey through life!
I just love this family!!! Some of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet!! We had the honor of photographing their wedding in October and were thrilled when they came back for family photos at Christmas time! Sweet and southern was the theme, and they pull it off so well! A big THANK YOU to Tim for carrying crates and boxes through tall and thick grass for a good 200 yards! Awesome shoot locations take work sometimes! :) I'm just so thrilled with these images...absolutely adorable children and incredibly responsive! I've never had a one year old smile on cue so much during a session! Thanks for a great evening Lair family!
What a sweet and loving family this is!!! I am so happy that we finally were able to schedule a session after months of talking and planning :) I am happy to have met this wonderful crew. It was absolutely freezing outside but these kids hung in there! Little Miss was just amazing....she posed her little booty off and didn't stop smiling for the whole session. I was incredibly impressed with not only her smiling abilities, but also her kindness to me and her little brother. And we can certainly thank the Heavens for a beautiful sky and sunset!
Skylar is ONE!! We have photographed this gorgeous little angel many times over the past year. We had the privilage of shooting her newborn photos, 6 month, 9 month {with her siblings!} and one year photos! She is just {absolutely stunning} and it has been so great watching her grow throughout her first year of life. I can remember sitting in front of a heater with her last year as we got her ready for her newborn session-this year I had to crawl around on the floor chasing her as she explored and scooted around the set. Amazing :) Skylar was a little afraid of the cake at first...Lauren and I had to force her to try it before she realized, "Hey, this is sugar!!" I'm so happy to be sharing C. R Newman Photography's very first "cake smash" session-we couldn't have been given a more beautiful model!
Oh, the Evans family!!! I just love these little girlies :) Oldest daughter, Emma, has a piece of my heart-thats for sure! I had the honor of being her nanny for a short while last year and she is one that is easy to love. It was great being able to catch up with the whole family during their photo shoot. They are all so easy going and free spirited-I think the photos definitely capture their true essence. Sisterly love at its finest <3
Its always a unique experience being able to photograph your own family, and these four are no strangers to being in front of my camera! Clint and I have had the privilege of photographing Shelby, Brian, Colt and Brantley numerous times over the past few years. From Christmas pictures and family portraits, to newborn and one-year-old sessions...we've been a part of it all!! For this session, they decked themselves out in flannel and kicked off their shoes for a lake front photo shoot! The cool fall air had decided to turn the leaves on the property from green to yellow and red-I love the look of cool autumn air in these images! We love you guys!
Say hello to the Ruskin family!!! I had the opportunity to photograph these adorable twin boys at the beginning of this year, and was so excited to be able to get them in front of my camera again! Originally we had a different location picked out, but {thankfully} the location became unusable so Stefani had the idea of using their amazing property for the backdrop! We loved having the opportunity to shoot somewhere completely different. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera in hand to capture the moments leading up to these amazing photos-it was a sight to be seen! Clint hopped on board the immoble tractor and steered as Dad, Jerry, pulled it behind his truck to position it where we needed it to be. The things we do to get the perfect shot! :)
How beautiful is this family! These kids have the most gorgeous eyes-and they get it from their momma {can't you tell}!!! I loved this location because we had two completely different scenes to work with. We started off with some country rustic-I like to call those kids "the travelers" :) I've been wanting to use that trunk for a long time and they fit perfectly along side it. We finished off the session on the beach as the sun went down....I adore how Becky dressed everyone, they look so darn cute! What a gorgeous sunset we had. I love having the privilege of photographing another photographer's family!
The Boyette's decided they wanted to do their Christmas photos on the beach...with a little bit of a twist! With Kristi came to me with the idea of bringing a tree and presents I was thrilled. I loved how creative and unique it was! Then she told me she wanted to build a sand snowman and I thought...oh boy, that is going to be a challenge {but fun!} Unfortunately I was unable to attend this session as I wasn't feeling well, but Clint took over and he nailed it! I love these photos, and this family. Merry Christmas everyone!
Meet the Hutchinson family!!! What a great group of people :) And proof that even if you don't want to have your picture taken, you can still end up having a fun time! {Right, David?} Even little Wilf {yes, the dog} had a good time! :) The boys were full of energy and smiled and laughed the whole time, despite being worn out from an earlier soccer match and having the bugs come out near the end of the session! I love these images because it actually looks like FALL in Florida! Who would have known we had that season, if even for a brief period of time! You guys were awesome-it was great meeting you all!
Oh, my Isabella :) I just love her so much!!! I am beyond thrilled to have my niece back in Florida so I can squeeze her, love her, and take beautiful pictures of her!! My sister brought this brilliant and adorable idea to me to shoot Bella reading her favorite books in an open field for her three-year-old photo shoot. And I gotta admit, I'm mighty jealous of her wardrobe styling-how amazing is that head band!? Bella did so great in the field despite the grass being incredibly pokey and itchy (for all of us)! I love how these photos turned out :)
My oh my, do children get any more beautiful? These kids come from some good genes, thats for sure! We were so honored to be able to photograph all three of them together just before the big move out of state! They left the sunshine state, but I hope that these yellow flowers on the walls of their new house keep a little Florida sun in their life :) Clint and I were thrilled to find this spot while just driving through a neighborhood one day and knew immediately it was the perfect location for these cuties! It took games, snacks and lots of energy to get the perfect shot...and I know I say it all the time...it was worth it! The smiles and laughter are just to die for! Thanks for letting us capture beautiful memories of your family! <3
We headed to Indian Rocks Beach a few weeks ago to shoot the Robertson gang! Finally (for once!) we didn't have to fight any rain, wind or bugs- we just had perfect weather and a perfect sunset! We had the opportunity to visit with this wonderful family before we started shooting; it was great to catch up with you guys! Our main goal for this evening's session was to capture the entire family looking great in one photo since they were all vacationing together-a feat that was failed last summer due to immediate downpour. I'd say we succeeded with flying colors! :) Of course shooting individual photos of these adorable kiddies and making sure mom and dad got some cute photos was on the agenda too! Hope you guys are adjusting to real life again-can't wait to catch up again soon!
Meet the Blanton family!!! A family full of energy and love! I gotta say, these boys were probably the most 'smiley' kids I've ever photographed-and I have my husband to thank for the giggles during the session as he stood behind me and acted silly to make them laugh! Everyone was so natural in front of the camera, making this session a breeze! They laughed and interacted with each other so gracefully which produced some amazing shots of them looking adorable!! Thanks for a great time guys! We hope to see you again :)
